Watching this animation, it's clear that the author had a lot to say about:
- Third wave feminism
- Transgender and non-binary people
- Genital mutilation
This author tries so desperately to state his opinions on various social issues that he ends up mixing them all together into one nonexistent problem. On top of that, the one-dimensional parody of radical feminism is just a reason to point at it and laugh, in a way that screams: "SJWs, am I right?".
The ending song gives you the impression that this should be taken seriously, like it's the author's saving grace that will give meaning to his confused message. Its lyrics about avoiding genital mutilation could have potential if they talked about how babies are, even to this day, subject to circumcision or other life-changing operations, all without their consent. Instead, the author insists on denigrating consenting adults who partake in sexual reassignment surgery, despite many studies supporting that physical changes are successful in helping transgender people.
It all just feels like some more transphobic propaganda we don't need in a society where transgender people are still victims of hate crime.
In the end, it is clear that a lot of effort was put into this short animation. It is unfortunate that the author didn't put the same effort in learning more about its subject matter.
